Brideswell was founded in the early 1990s by Leona Gra­ham and Richard Elen as an umbrella for their inde­pen­dent activ­i­ties, which range from media rela­tions, writ­ing and graphic design to con­fer­ence organ­is­ing, work­shops, teaching/lecturing and radio/audio pro­duc­tion. We also run a small pub­lish­ing com­pany, The Brideswell Press. In a nut­shell, Richard is a tech­ni­cal writer, edi­tor, jour­nal­ist, lec­turer, broad­caster, voiceover tal­ent and pro­ducer with a spe­cial inter­est in pro audio, dig­i­tal audio tech­nol­ogy, vir­tual worlds and inter­net media. Leona comes from a Cana­dian aca­d­e­mic back­ground in Eng­lish and has been organ­is­ing con­fer­ences and giv­ing work­shops for many years on a range of top­ics includ­ing spir­i­tu­al­ity and the envi­ron­ment.
